We're thrilled to announce that Youth for Energy Southeast Asia will be actively participating in the upcoming COP28, scheduled for this December in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE)! This is a momentous opportunity for us to amplify our voices as a youth organisation, advocate for sustainable energy solutions, and contribute to shaping the future of our region.
United Nation Climate Change conferences (COPs) take place annual to gather various stakeholders all over the world to address the climate crisis, such as limiting the global temperature rise to 1.5 degree Celsius, enhancing resilience within vulnerable communities under the effects of climate change, and achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
