Amira Bilqis, co-founder of Y4E-SEA, moderated the Evening Plenary Session at the IRENA Youth Forum, exploring how we can empower young people to drive a just and sustainable energy transition. Under the theme "Powering a Fair Future: Building a Workforce for a Just Energy Transition," this session focused on scaling technical training, addressing inequities in education access, and equipping youth with the skills to bridge emerging gaps in the clean energy sector.
A huge thank you to the incredible panelists Michael Renner, Tania Z., Jaafar Abdulkadir, Shay Bahramirad - (Ph.D.) for their insights on transforming training into tangible impact and fostering a fair, inclusive workforce that aligns with SDG 7 and the Paris Agreement goals.
