Team
Our co-founders, Amira and Jitsai met in 2022. They quickly bonded over their mutual interest in renewable energy and the developments in Southeast Asia.

Amira Bilqis
Amira Bilqis works at the ASEAN Centre for Energy as an Energy Modelling and Policy Planning Analyst. Amira has advocated for meaningful youth inclusion and provided insights at high-level engagements, including the G7 Youth Summit in Berlin (2022), the G20 Youth Summit in Ladakh (2023), the EU-ASEAN Youth Summit in Brussels (2022), the BRICS Youth Energy Summit in Johannesburg (2023), the UN ESCAP Asian Pacific Energy Forum in Bangkok (2023), and the Southeast Asia Youth Energy Forum in Bali (2023). Her credentials extend beyond advocacy; she is also a certified trainer the Italy-IRENA Action on Climate Toolkit (I-ACT). Amira's dedication to the energy-environment nexus, negotiation, policymaking, and youth empowerment ignited when she successfully led the ASEAN University Student Council Union (AUSCU) conference report, earning the endorsement of the ASEAN Senior Official Meeting on Youth (SOMY). She obtained her degree in international environmental law from Universitas Indonesia, with an additional political science course from Kyungpook National University in South Korea (Global Korean Scholarship Awardee).

Jitsai Santaputra
Jitsai Santaputra is a Consultant at The Lantau Group based in Bangkok, Thailand. She provides in-depth analysis of energy markets in Asia Pacific and supports clients on their broader energy transition plans. Alongside her professional work, she is a Youth Energy Advocate, having represented the ASEAN youth voice at international conferences and venues such as UNFCCC COP26, COP28, G20 Youth Summit, New York Climate Week, TED Countdown Summit, BRICS Youth Energy Summit, and Sustainable Energy for ALL Forum, among others. Jitsai champions the inclusion of women and youth in decision making roles and advocates for just transitions in Southeast Asia. Most recently, she co-founded a youth-led non-profit organization called Youth for Energy Southeast Asia (Y4E-SEA) to support and connect youths working on the just energy transition in the region. In June 2023, she was appointed by SEforALL and TED Countdown as the SDG7 Global Youth Ambassador for Southeast Asia for 2023-24.

Endry Lim Zhen Wen
Research Director
Endry has over 9 years of working experience and has served clients in both private and public sector in areas related to oil, gas & energy in Malaysia, Oman, and New Zealand. His projects range from leading a business turnaround project for an oil and gas engineering company; developing, monitoring, and advising on the progress of national-level oil, gas & energy initiatives; and, more recently, identifying cost-optimising initiatives for a power utilities company. In his roles, Endry has conducted extensive quantitative research, recursive problem-solving, and engaged with stakeholders across various levels and groups to achieve the projects’ desired outcomes. Endry had served the Malaysian Government, working with Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU), a unit under the Prime Minister’s Department, of which is mandated to oversee the implementation, assess the progress, facilitate as well as support the delivery and drive the progress of the Government Transformation Programme (GTP) and the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP). He works closely with both private & public sectors, fostering ties to drive the national-level projects. Some of the functional expertise that he has acquired along the way are in public policy implementation, strategy development and implementation, performance management, transformation management, project management, stakeholder facilitation and management. Bernadette Anne Buensuceso
External Affairs Director
Bea holds a Master's degree in Asian Studies from the University of the Philippines Diliman. She has a multifaceted professional background in government, academia, and youth volunteerism. Currently, she serves as a Commercial Assistant for Trade and Invest British Columbia co-located at the Embassy of Canada in Manila, where she supports finance and business development initiatives. Previously, Bea spent four years at the Philippines Energy Regulatory Commission, assisting the legal team in monitoring compliance among electric companies and energy stakeholders. In academia, she served as an adjunct lecturer in Diplomacy and Governance at the De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde. She previously held roles with the ASEAN Youth Organization and the ASEAN-Australia Strategic Youth Partnership. Passionate about sustainable energy advocacy, Bea has been actively involved with Youth for Energy Southeast Asia, leading Y4E's energy compact and fostering partnerships to empower more young energy enthusiasts across the region.
Giang Ngoc Huong Vu
Communications Director
Giang is currently a student in Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Decentralized Smart Energy System (DENSYS) in Université de Lorraine (France) and KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden). She obtained BSc. Energy at the University of University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH), and previously worked as an Associate Research Analyst in Sustainable & Renewable Energy department at ASEAN Centre for Energy - an intergovernmental organisation representing the interest of 10 ASEAN Member States in the energy sector. Regarding extracurriculars, Giang is the Communication Director in Youth for Energy Southeast Asia (Y4E-SEA) - a youth organisation working on sustainable energy advocacy in Southeast Asia. She was also a member of the Youth Energy Training-of-Trainers Program, held by the United Nation Development Program (UNDP) Vietnam under the initiative Youth4Climate and USTH to raise awareness of sustainable energy transition. Giang is an alumnus of AIESEC in Vietnam - a youth-run international organisation focusing on enhancing leadership qualities and personal development with the highest position of Team Leader in social projects for Vietnamese youngsters. In 2022, she was nominated as a Vietnamese representative to participate in the Young Southeast Asian Leader Initiatives (YSEALI) Fellowship Programme on Environmental Issues in Montana, the United States.

Syaharani Abdul Kadir
Research Officer
Rani is an experienced researcher who has been in touch with various cross-cutting sustainability issues through research and policy assistant. She is currently a climate & energy governance researcher at Indonesian Center for Environmental Law. She has been involved in advocating stronger climate action since she was a student in Universitas Indonesia by founding Environmental Law Society to facilitate legal student climate actions. She specializes in climate and energy policy and has been involved in the forming of Indonesia's climate-energy policies. She is involved in the Just Transition Working Group of Indonesian JETP as ICEL’s representative and has been promoting the enactment of Indonesian Renewable Energy and Climate Justice Bill. Her research also covers the enhancement of energy transition enabling conditions in Indonesia such as carbon pricing and mainstreaming energy transition within environmental instruments and development planning particularly in coal-dependent regions. She has experienced in working with various government agencies, think tanks, and civil society groups in the field of climate and energy and passionate about tackling the most pressing environmental challenges through impactful research and policy advocacy.
Dyah Sekar Ayu Anjeli
Communication Officer
Dyah Sekar Ayu Anjeli is an International Relation student with concentration in international political economy at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ). In her studies, she is often selected as the lead of group projects. She has led journal article projects entitled Analysis of Indonesia's Effectiveness as ASEAN Chairman in Utilizing Quiet Diplomacy to Resolve Rohingya Conflict, Utilizing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Multinational Oil Companies: MNOCs in Increasing the Quality of Education in Nigeria, and many more. Currently she is an intern at National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) as Foreign Partnership Intern. Apart from her major, she has graphic design and social media as other skills. She joined Kazakhstan Student Club UPNVJ and took positions as Design and Publication staff. With her dedication in graphic design and international skills, she was nominated as Yurtari's Best Staff 2023 by Kazakhstan Student Club UPNVJ.
Valencia Octaviani

Valencia is a social activist whose fervent passion for SDGs fuels her unwavering commitment to create a more resilient and sustainable world. Her work at the social organization that she established (Beri Harapan Indonesia) exemplifies her dedication to positive change. She also has been actively involved in several national and international conferences. Driven by her deep-rooted passion for energy, she has been dedicating herself to pursue a career in the field. She hopes to ignite a widespread awareness on the urgency of clean energy transition to bring a positive change on the planet and to its people.
Muhammad Vito Hamza
Data and Information System Manager
Aspire to live on a sustainable planet by utilizing natural resources with advanced technologies, Vito is a graduate power systems engineer with a passion for renewable energy and digital transformation, his experiences revolve around revamping business processes and iterating new ways of working. Currently he took role as a reliability data analyst at geothermal company with focus on creating asset performance management, industrial internet of things system, and asset management.
Alicia Tien
Director of Strategic Partnerships & Sponsorships
Alicia Tien is empowered to drive the green transition of Southeast Asia. She is the founder and CEO of Asia Discovery, a strategic market entrance consulting firm based in Malaysia and Beijing, China that spearheads robust business expansion of global renewable energy companies across the Southeast Asia region. With past experiences working in two top international incubators, in China and Europe. She specialized on innovation, talents and market insights, she led market entrance programs and cultivated impactful partnerships spanning startups, corporates, governmental entities, and academic institutions across ASEAN, China, and Europe. Alicia is also active in youth development and community initiatives, where she promoted youth entrepreneurship through co-organising the ASEAN-China-India Sustainability Startathon program, and founded Tsinghua China-ASEAN Association with 500+ members at present. She is also the founder of Impact Discovery,where she discusses about climate action, gender equity and innovation. Alicia is an active alumna of Tsinghua University, London School of Economics, University of Manchester, and National University of Singapore.
Nicole Siaw

Nicole is currently a final year MEng Mechanical Engineering student studying at Imperial College London. Originally from Sarawak, Malaysia, Nicole aspires to advance the energy transition in Sarawak, Malaysia, and ASEAN at large. Nicole previously interned at Arup Scotland, where she worked on projects that sought investment for Scotland's Wind projects, heating decarbonisation strategies, as well as shadowed the development of the UK government's Hydrogen Assesment Round 2 (HAR 2) policy. In her academics, Nicole's research area focuses on analysing the large-scale hydrogen development strategy in Sarawak from a life-cycle analysis perspective and its position in APAC. Having served in multiple CSOs, student councils, and unions in Malaysia, Nicole strongly believes in the role of youth and civil society organisations for the betterment of society at large.
Hizkia Posumah
Communication officer
Hizkia is a fresh graduate with Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (B.Sc.) from Universitas Pertamina, graduating with honors (Cum Laude), specialized in computational chemistry, also an energy and sustainability enthusiast. Previously a research assistant at Quantum Physics Research Center of BRIN RI, focusing on computational simulations and catalyst design for a renewable energy source, fuel cells. Additionally, possess knowledge of computer science, particularly in data science and artificial intelligence (AI). Now, actively plays a role as a sosial activist based on the 4th Sustainable Development Goal, which proposing regulatory recommendations in the education sector and nurturing young talent in North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Putri Aprilia Maharani
Executive Secretary
Putri Aprilia Maharani is a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from LSPR Communication and Business Institute. Currently, she is an intern at the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), focusing on research related to power generation technologies and energy policy development. Putri has a strong background in diplomatic communication and international cooperation, having gained valuable experience through internships at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and her involvement as a Secretary, Speaker management and People Officer in Indonesian Youth Diplomacy.
Auliya Febriyanti
External Affairs Officer
Auliya is a Junior Associate Officer (JAO) of Energy Modelling and Policy Planning (MPP) at the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE). She is also currently served as the Young Expert of BRICS Youth Energy Agency (YEA) for the next publication of BRICS Youth Energy Outlook 2024. Her expertise is energy policy, international cooperation, and just energy transition. Working in the energy sector, Auliya also aspires to support youth empowerment towards energy transition. She obtained her Bachelor Degree of International Relations from Universitas Brawijaya.
Rudi Chandra Adinugraha

Rudi is a passionate individual with experiences in energy and sustainability issue. He will be graduating from University of Indonesia with a B.Eng Degree, specialized in Environmental Engineering. Rudi is looking to build his career around ESG & Sustainability fields in relevant industry, as well as continuing his study by obtaining a master degree.
Ardhi Arsala Rahmani
Research Officer
Ardhi is a third-culture kids who has lived in various countries throughout his life. Now, he has settled in Depok, Indonesia, finishing his dissertation to acquire a doctoral degree from Universitas Indonesia. Ardhi is not a jack of all trades, nor is he a master of none. Instead, Ardhi brands himself as a jack of many trades and master of some.
